Artificial Intelligence as a New Tool for Effective Assessment of Information and Data Literacy

  Abstract

The subject of the article is the identification of the possibilities and limits of incorporating work with Artificialintelligence into the process of assessing information and data literacy of pre-service teachers in the process of undergraduate training. The aim of the research was to determine the degree of effectiveness and level of competency assessment using ChatGPT within the components of information and data literacy, by analyzing data from a specific research sample. By analyzing specific data, we confirmed that ChatGPTcan adequately process and evaluate the level of information and data literacy of pre-service teachers in the process of their undergraduate training, using specific elements.
